The Lewes U15 Mince Pie 10s tournament on Sunday 15th December involved 16 different teams from 11 different clubs playing 38 ten minute matches. The event was a great success, and a brilliant way to end the year.

As part of the event the teams paid tribute to Rugby Legend Tom Voyce who sadly passed away this month and asked all players to remember to “make a difference at Christmas” through the variety of Food Bank projects operated around the region.

The U15 Squad wanted to especially thank the U15 Committee and parents who put months of planning and effort into the event. Also, a big thank you to Ben Green, James Sale, Paul Stokes and Benton Brooke who worked tirelessly to ref each match. Finally, a big thank you to Paddy Henshaw for his advice and help on the logistics for the event.

Wishing you all a Happy New Year.
