The Lewes U16 team put on an excellent display of rugby during a friendly match against Tunbridge Wells at the Stanley Turner Ground on Sunday 1st March. Despite the difficult conditions both teams were able to cross the line on a number of occasions. Despite both sides losing players in the second half, the scoreline remained close. Lewes managed to battle on when they were down to thirteen players, and at the end of a closely contested match, Lewes were narrowly beaten with the scoreline at Tunbridge Wells 24, Lewes 15. Lewes players who crossed the line were: Rupert Collins, Jabez Ormerod Down and Zac Melville.
