Supporting the Chailey Heritage Foundation

Last weekend players from the Lewes Rugby Club Under 12's team took part in a 2km Mud Monster assault course to raise money for . The team took on the challenging course in good speed and they have managed to raise over £500 for the charity so far!
The boys were honoured to be joined by Max (a pupil from Chailey Heritage school) who was presented with his very own LRFC shirt, as well as his family who have now pledged to be Lewes Rugby Football Club supporters. Max's Dad sent the team a lovely message afterwards;

We would like to thank you and the rest of the parents who raised not just cool kids, you've all raised extremely great young men, who are definitely a role model for all the younger generation. It was more than pure pleasure to be a part of this today, it means the world to us. And with the hand on my heart I can say, that it was one of the kindest things that someone did for Max, we're never gonna forget this special day, and we will be always grateful for it.
