Sunday 12th April saw Lewes RFC host their annual Minis Rugby Festival at The Stanley Turner Ground.
Teams from across Sussex and Kent arrived in the early morning to set up and compete against each other in what has become one of the county’s favourite minis rugby festivals.
Teams ranging from U7s to U11s competed in a very friendly atmosphere thanks, once again, to the favourable weather and the hard work put in behind the scenes by the club volunteers.
Special mentions go to the Club Chairman Paddy Henshaw for organising the whole festival; Paul Sheffield and his U12s parents and players for manning the car parking; Benton and Fraser Brook, both Sussex RFU qualified referees for refereeing all of the U11s matches; to everyone who helped with the set up and clear up operations, including Rob Moore, Craig Brindley, Ross Ham and Jen Davie, and also to the Team Managers, Head Coaches, Coaches and Parents of Lewes RFC Minis for making the day such an amazing and successful day.
